Title: Digital workflow of implant-supported reconstruction for edentulous patients.
Abstract
In the presentation, the multimoding digital information of the edentulous patient was merged for the design of the prosthesis, and the workflow of treatments was modified based on the virtual design. With the CAD/CAM and 3-D printing available, digital design of the final prosthesis can be turn to the real before implant operation. Based on digital techniques, prosthetic-driven concept and closed cycle solution for implant-supported reconstruction for edentulous patients were well discussed.

Dr. Gu got his Master degree of Stomatology in Wuhan University in 1994 and Doctor degree of dentistry in Kiel University Germany in 2003. He worked as an oral implantologist and prosthodontist in the university hospital for more than 28 years. Dr Gu have a great experience and understanding especially on implant esthetic restoration, immediate loading with implants for edentulous patients, digital assisted design and manufacture for implantology and restoration, and series treatments plan and procedure for complicated cases. Dr. Gu have published more than 60 papers, and owned three Chinese patents for invention.
